WHAT WE MEASURE

 

 

    1. Improving Health Outcomes

 

    • Metric: Percentage decrease in non-communicable diseases (e.g., reproductive cancers, hypertension, diabetes) among communities involved in training and outreach programs.

    • Purpose: Evaluate the effectiveness of tailored training and clinics in preventing and managing these health issues.

2. Boosting Emergency Response

 

    • Metric: Number of trained motorbike riders and matatu drivers who successfully apply first aid during emergencies.

    • Purpose: Measure the impact of training on empowering first responders, reducing fatalities, and improving emergency outcomes.

3. Expanding Access to Affordable Care

 

    • Metric: Number of individuals aided by Samaritan Purse subsidies and the reduction in financial barriers to treatment for non-communicable diseases and post-accident care.

    • Purpose: Assess the program’s success in increasing healthcare accessibility and affordability for those in need.

Dr. Robin Mogere has been actively involved in practicing medicine for the past 30 years and holds an
MBChB from the University of Nairobi and an FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburg.

He previously worked at the Coast General Hospital and Taita Taveta District Hospital. He studied at Guys Hospital for Surgical Training and Specialization, before proceeding to the University of Nairobi as a Lecturer in the Surgery Department. Mr. Mogere has tirelessly served as a board member in the following institutions; Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board, The Nairobi Hospital, and has been the Chairman as well as a board member of the Metro Group PLC since its inception.
