Road Safety Awareness

The “Safe Roads, Safe Lives” program represents TMG Foundation’s commitment to reducing road traffic injuries and fatalities in Nairobi. By equipping road users with essential skills, fostering awareness, and creating supportive infrastructure, we aim to build safer, healthier, and more empowered communities. please update below according to that; 1. Our Goal

  • Reduce road traffic accidents and fatalities through

    increased awareness, preventive measures, and skill-building initiatives.

  • Encourage the adoption of safe driving behaviors, practices, and road usage across all sectors of society.
  • Integrate road safety into community planning and infrastructure development to create safer, healthier environments.

Our Strategic Focus

  • Raise awareness about the significance of road safety and its direct impact on public health and well-being.
  • Provide communities wiIh the knowledge, skills, and resources to prevent road accidents through educational programs and training sessions.​

  • Collaborate with public and private sector organizations to design and implement effective road

    safety policies, initiatives, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Mobilize resources, foster strong partnerships, and support the implementation of road safety programs to enhance the safety of all road users.

What We are currently doing

1. Community outreach and road safety Awareness campaign.

2. Free Road Safety Training and Workshops.

3. Improving Road safety literacy through community engagement.

FIRST AID TRAINING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ST.JOHN's AMBULANCE

Dr. Robin Mogere has been actively involved in practicing medicine for the past 30 years and holds an
MBChB from the University of Nairobi and an FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburg.

He previously worked at the Coast General Hospital and Taita Taveta District Hospital. He studied at Guys Hospital for Surgical Training and Specialization, before proceeding to the University of Nairobi as a Lecturer in the Surgery Department. Mr. Mogere has tirelessly served as a board member in the following institutions; Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board, The Nairobi Hospital, and has been the Chairman as well as a board member of the Metro Group PLC since its inception.
